Life can be challenging at times.
The good news is that God’s Word has an answer and a solution for our human troubles. The purpose of Redemption Counseling Ministry is to help you meet the challenges of life, no matter what you are facing. Jesus promises us, “Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
Beliefs & Values
Biblical Basis
We believe that God’s Word provides thorough guidance and instruction for all of life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3-4 and Romans15:4). Therefore, our counseling is grounded solely on scriptural principles, which is the final authority (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Biblical counseling consists of the giving of scriptural advice and the practical application of the same to each individual.
Counselee’s Commitment
We ask all counselees to commit to attending all scheduled sessions and to complete homework assignments. Because the Scriptures teach that growth in Christ requires all the resources of the Body of Christ, we also ask all counselees to commit to regular Sunday service attendance and active participation in a small group or Wednesday night class.
Our Counseling Team
Our counseling team consists of pastors, ACBC certified counselors, and trained caring members. Our counselors are trained to help guide you in applying biblical wisdom to your problem or struggle. There may arise situations where additional assistance from other counselors, pastors, or professionals is needed.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is an important aspect of the counseling process. We carefully guard the information you entrust to us to the fullest extent possible. However, your counselor reserves the right to consult with other counselors or pastors at Redemption Counseling Ministry for the purpose of providing the highest level of care. This will only be done on an as needed basis and you will be informed of this need prior to any discussion.
What We Offer
Individual
Counseling is available for anyone and everyone. Whether you’re wrestling with grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, or you just need a safe place to process, we’d love to be there for you.
Grief Share
We offer Grief Share, a support group to help you move through the grief process. These are welcoming places where people better understand the difficult emotions of grief.
Children & Youth
We offer therapy for children in order to assist them in managing their emotions and thoughts. Since we believe that parents are the primary agents of healing for their child, we encourage them to participate in the counseling process.
Marriage
To help engaged or married couples’ relationships flourish, we provide gospel-centered counseling that focuses on building a strong foundation, fostering intentional communication, and redeeming relational brokenness.
Trauma
We offer biblically based trauma counseling for a range of concerns. Whether you are processing past painful experiences or navigating ongoing struggles, we are here to help.
